Prospective, Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Double Blind Study Evaluating
for the Benefit of Peenuts ®, versus Voiding Symptoms
(1997)
The Voiding Symptom Score (IPSS-Index) is a diagnostic measure used to assess one's ability to effectively empty the
bladder by asking 7 questions addressing the pattern of urination including: Frequency, Urgency, Incomplete Emptying,
Intermittency, Straining, Weak Stream and Nocturia (Validated by the AUA in 1997). The statistical analysis of the
comparative between Group A (active product) and Group B (placebo) using this validated diagnostic measure is demonstrated
below.

Mild Symptoms: 1-7
Moderate Symptoms: 8-19
